Laura mikhail
Dr. Mikhail has been with CAHA since 2003. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign (BS/MS) and Northwestern University Medical School (MD). She completed her pediatric residency at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She is board certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Mikhail loves spending time with her family. She especially loves creating memories traveling with them. She also is a big fan of sushi!!

Dr. Tarnowski has been with CAHA since 2005. She graduated from the University of Iowa (BA) and the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (DO). She completed her pediatric residency and chief residency at Advocate Christ Medical Center/Hope Children's Hospital. She is board certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. One of Dr. T’s favorite places is Maui, where she got married (got Maui’d!) and she loves all things Hawaiian!

Dr. Luu joined CAHA in 2001. She is a graduate of Yale University (BA) and the University of Illinois College of Medicine (MD). She completed her pediatric residency at Boston Medical Center/Boston University. She also did a chief residency year for the Boston Combined Residency Program. She is board certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Luu was hula-hoop champion of her college! She enjoys gardening and being with her family!

Dr. Lipkin joined CAHA in 2013. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign (BS) and Rush University Medical School (MD). She completed her pediatric residency at Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago. She is board certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Lipkin loves to play guitar and foster puppies from PAWS!

Dr. Patel joined CAHA in 2022. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (BS) and Midwestern University (DO). She completed her pediatric residency at Rush Children's Hospital. She is board certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Patel loves spending time with her husband, daughter and boxer puppy and traveling to new places!

Dr. Gupta joined CAHA in 2023. She is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University (BS) and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine (MD). She completed her pediatric residency at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. She is board certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Gupta loves traveling, reading, and making pottery.

Jessica topel
Jessica is a graduate of University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (B.S.) and Loyola University Chicago (B.S.N.). She received her Masters in Nursing as a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from University of Illinois at Chicago in 2012. She worked as a RN in the NICU at Lurie Children's Hospital for 5 years and as a Nurse Practitioner in Lurie's Pediatric Surgery department for 3 years prior to joining CAHA in 2016. Jessica is also a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor. Jessica loves to spend time with her husband and two children! She loves sushi and traveling.

Meghan Sullivan
Meghan is a graduate of University of Wisconsin-Madison (B.S.) and DePaul University (Masters in Nursing). She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (PNP) from Rush University in 2017. She worked as a nurse at Lurie Children's Hospital for 8 years in the neurology, endocrinology, and neurosurgery departments prior to joining CAHA in 2017. Meghan loves to travel with her husband and two children. She was born in California which is one of her favorite destinations!

Carla
Carla Crawford is our Office Manager and has been with CAHA since 2000. She has 20+ years of office management experience. Carla is responsible for managing CAHA's day-to-day activities, optimizing front staff performance and overseeing our patient billing function. Recently Carla has found a new love for the active lifestyle. She has signed up for several 5K and stair climb races!

Renita Smiley is our Assistant Office Manager and has been with CAHA since 2004. Renita helps train new front office hires, ensures billing accuracy and provides support to the front office staff. Renita is the mother of a beautiful daughter and grandbaby!

Ivora Jones, MA has been with CAHA since 2021. She received her degree at Everest College. She helps schedule patients and works in the billing department. Ivora loves to cook and enjoys laughter!
